Why did we make this change?

• We made the decision to drop Viacom channels from the traditional cable lineup and allow customers to watch this content via the many streaming options.
• The cost of fees payable to the cable networks is rising quickly and our commitment is to keep TV affordable to IMC customers.
• This was not a decision we made lightly, and is a decision that we truly made with our customers in mind. In recent years, our goal has been to keep rate increases at a bare minimum. Our costs to obtain the rights to cable networks and local broadcast stations has continued to climb at a rate that far outpaces inflation. While we negotiate the best rates possible, these significant increases over many years continue to require more substantial rate increases to the customer.
• We’re returning the savings to you – our customer. When you receive your October bill from IMCTV, you will notice a rate reduction for all IMCTV Expanded subscribers of $3.00. Digital More package subscribers will see an additional reduction of $1.00.
